About the Journal

Journal of Updates in Cardiovascular Medicine is a global e-journal of Heart and Health Foundation of Turkey (HHFT) that publishes in the fields of cardiology and cardiovascular-vascular-endovascular surgery, cardio-metabolic and vascular sciences since 2013. The journal is a quarterly publication, published on March, June, September and December and its publication language is English. The Journal aims to publish research articles and reviews of high quality which cover all aspects of surgery of the heart, vessels and the chest. All manuscripts submitted for publication must be accompanied by the Copyright Agreement Form. Once this form, signed by all the authors, is submitted, it is understood that neither the manuscript nor the data it contains have been submitted elsewhere or previously published and authors declare the statement of scientific contributions and responsibilities of all authors. Abstracts presented at congresses are eligible for evaluation. The editorial and publication process of the Journal of Updates in Cardiovascular Medicine are shaped in accordance with the guidelines of the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE), World Association of Medical Editors (WAME), Council of Science Editors (CSE), Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), European Association of Science Editors (EASE), and National Information Standards Organization (NISO). The journal is in conformity with the Principles of Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing.
